The Unitive Life contains conversations with and selected works of Nārāyaṇa Guru (1856 – 1928). Guru was a poet-seer and was an exponent of non-dual wisdom in living terms. These conversations stand as a testimony to the potential of a non-dual approach in harmonizing human relations at all levels. In simple, intimate terms, Guru delves deep into issues like religious fundamentalism and caste or the underlying sense of otherness from which emerge all such contradictions. The second half of the book has some of his selected works, revealing his depth and range as a poet. The final part includes two articles by his disciples Sathyavratha Swamikal and Nataraja Guru.

Translated by Vinaya Chaitanya, a disciple of Natarāja Guru, who has been studying Nārāyaṇa Guru, for more than five decades.

നടരാജഗുരുവിന്റെ ശിഷ്യനായ വിനയചൈതന്യയാണു പരിഭാഷകൻ. നാരായണഗുരുവിന്റെ കൃതികളും, അക്കാമഹാദേവിയുടെ വചനങ്ങളും ഇംഗ്ലീഷിലേക്കു പരിഭാഷ ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. മിലരേപ, മറ്റൊരു വിവർത്തന കൃതിയാണു.
